Colleen Athens and Heather Brauner are both professional Doll Makers from New Jersey. Colleen has created a collection of beautiful tiny fairies that all have a different personality. Heather has created a collection of larger fairy dolls which are about 18" tall. One day classes as well as weekend workshops are coming up, so make sure you sign up ahead of time as these are very limited seating class/workshops.

Tiny Fairy Dolls 

Date: Sat & Sun Jan 8th & 9th 9am-5pm

Cost: $$145.

In this workshop you will learn how to

create a small 5-7" fairy doll made

out of polymer clay and other materials. 

YOu will sculpt the head,bodice and limbs and then focus on making the eyes alive adding shine and sparkle. You will also be shown how to wig your fairy. We will explore color and texture using fabrics, paper, metal findings, gems, acrylics, pigment powders, inks, leafing and many other types of medium.

Halloween Weekend Doll workshop With Heather Brauner

Price $145 Plus $15 kit fee..

This is a fun 2 ½ day Workshop . Starting Friday, Oct. 29th 5-8 pm ,Saturday Oct. 30th 9 - 5 and Sunday Oct. 31st 9- 5 .

In this workshop you will Learn to Create a fully possible Doll ,with a wire Armature and a cloth over cloth needle sculpted face , along with other exciting techniques for costuming , embellishing and creating wings .Beginner as well as advanced doll makers are welcome . Bring you imagination and create a Faire, Elf or even a Witch !

$15 Kit includes the following:

Pattern and Instructions

All wire needed for Doll

Cotton Batting

Sanding block

Pre Sewn ,muslin head , hands and all overlays .

Card board

½ yard stretch velvet .

Your choice of fabrics and trims for costuming your doll .Felt, leather ,lace

Good quality thread in cream or white. And thread conditioner.

A fine point air solve pen A MUST !

Needles assorted sizes and a 5 in Doll needle

Hair for your Doll .Tibetan lamb ( my favorite) .Wool Roving , Yarn, or Mo Hair . ( Colleen Athens is a good Source for Mo Hair )

Cheep aluminum foil the thin stuff

Acrylic paint. ,Flesh, white a colors for eyes and lips.

Chalk for cheeks

Micron extra fine line pen in Brown

Gel pens ,colored pencils , twinkling H2o water color,

Good quality fiber fill ( I love Air Tex Brand only found online)

Small Hemostat for turning and stuffing doll parts

Wire cutters and Needle Nose pliers

Assorted paint brushes

Small sharp scissors
